Chapter one begins whenever you do

A long road, three chapters and no toll gate

Open World Story Campaign is a quiet reading room disguised as a game shelf. Three browser chapters stay open at all times, each one free from beginning to end, and the only record kept is the one you can see. No purchases, no prizes — just an afternoon that goes where you take it.

The shelf

Three chapters, read in any order

Nothing on this shelf is locked, sequenced or gated. Pick the one whose cover you like and let the afternoon do the rest.

Chapter I — The orchard road

Harvest Bloom

Late summer, heavy branches and a cart that will not fill itself. The gentlest chapter on the shelf, written for the hour after lunch when nothing needs to be urgent.

Chapter II — The dry crossing

Prairie Legend

Wide grass, one dusty road and a story the locals tell differently each time. The loudest chapter here, and the one most travellers finish first.

Chapter III — The old library

Chronicle of Relics

A dim room, a long table and pages of relics that only make sense when they line up. The slowest and deepest chapter, best read with the window open.

The campaign log

A journal, not a score sheet

We wanted the feeling of closing a book and remembering where you left the ribbon — not the feeling of a progress bar demanding to be filled.

The log holds twenty-one entries. Finish a chapter and one entry is written in. It cannot be bought, traded or compared against anyone else, and nothing resets it except your own hand.

  • Every chapter is free from the first page. No shop, no currency, no premium road.
  • No prizes, payouts or valuables of any kind — the reading is the whole point.
  • Your traveller name lives in this browser's own storage, on this device only.
  • Written for adults who want a slow hour rather than a daily duty.

Three promises we keep in writing

Everything else about this place may change. These will not.

i.

Free, with nothing behind it

No purchases, no subscriptions and no premium chapter waiting two screens in. If the page opens for you, the whole campaign does.

ii.

Nothing to collect but memory

There are no prizes, balances or items of value here. The journal is a keepsake, and it means exactly as much as you decide it does.

iii.

Adults, and we say so out loud

This is 18+ entertainment. The age question comes first, appears in the footer, and is not something we quietly bury in a policy page.

Name your traveller and set out

One name and one pass key, written into your own browser. No email, no server, no payment page — because there is nothing here to charge you for.

Are you 18 or older?

This campaign is written for adults. Please answer before the first chapter opens.

Everything inside is free social play with no purchases and no prizes of any kind. Continuing means you accept our Terms of Use and have read our Play Gently notes.

Your traveller

Kept in this browser alone. No email, no server, nothing payable.

Names are written to this browser only, so a traveller started here will not exist on another device.

We keep a few local entries so the campaign remembers your age answer and your traveller name. Nothing is sold, shared or used for advertising — the full list is in our Cookie Policy.
